It is one of the virgin beaches of Burgazada. Madam Martha Bay Beach takes its name from a woman named Martha who lives in Burgazada. Martha used to present the jewelery she made from the colorful stones and seashells she collected to the children. Madam Martha, who is very loved by the residents of Burgazada, was nicknamed Çiçek Teyze (Aunt Flower). After her death, the beach was named “Madame Martha” in memory of Çiçek Teyze.
Madam Martha Bay Beach is 40 minutes walk from Burgazada pier. It is possible to reach Madam Martha Bay Beach by renting a bicycle from the Burgazada pier area or by electric public transportation vehicles.
There is no charge to enter Madam Martha Bay Beach, sunbeds and umbrellas are rented for those who wish. There are facilities such as shower, toilet, changing cabin in the beach. However, there is no cafe or restaurant. We recommend that you bring food and drink with you.
Tents are set up in Madam Martha Bay, but it is forbidden to set up tents in the entire Adalar District. A nasty surprise awaits those who go here to set up a tent.
