Dilburnu Natural Park, which is a complete nature wonder where the blue of Marmara comes together with yellowish green of the pine trees is an iconic place for those visiting Buyukada to have picnic over there during the summer months. Dilburnu Natural Park in Buyukada occupies an area of 6.88 hectares. Dilburnu Natural Park is located on the bird migration route.
In the area extending 500 meters towards the cape and covered with the pine trees there are sports fields, children playgrounds and countryside restaurant in addition to the recreational area comprising picnic units, fountains and fire picnics in order to have a picnic in the companionship of the seascape. In the Natural Park there are such opportunism as walking, running and cycling on one-kilometer path in the companionship of the seascape. You may enjoy the unique scenery from the available terraces designed for this purpose in addition to picnics and sports activities. Saint Nicholas Monastery (Aya Nikola Manastiri), Islands Museum, Saint George Church (Aya Yorgi Kilisesi), Rum Orphanage, Hamidiye Mosque made under the sponsorship of Sultan Abdulhamid II are located in the surroundings of the Nature Park and worth seeing.
